WPCS Medal Classes
Horse Section 🐎👂🐴 📢: THIS IS A FINAL CALL FOR MEDAL ENTRIES. Thank you to everyone who has supported the medal classes so far. We would love to see more of you, this is the last few days to get your medal entries in – tomorrow is the last day they can be posted to us to be accepted. You will not be able to enter these classes on the day. We have our medal back due to popular demand, please support it if you want it for future years. 😊
Section Closing Dates
Closing dates for the 2018 classes are as follows-
Horticulture: Friday 10th August
Livestock: Saturday 11th August – No late entries accepted
Poultry: Saturday 11th August – No late entries accepted
Pet Show: Friday 10th August
Horses: Monday 13th August – Late entries accepted on the day at an additional charge (excluding Welsh Bronze Medal classes 13-35). Showjumping: All entries taken on the day ONLY at the Islwyn Riding Club Secretary box.
Childrens Craft: Entries accepted a week prior to, and up until the day of the show (All entries MUST be in the tent by 10am on show day)

If you have a question about a class you have already or wish to enter, please directly contact the appropriate secretary to ensure we can provide you with an answer prior to the 18th.
Horse Classes: Entry Fees and Information (including late entry information/fees where applicable)
Entry Fees per class (prior to the closing date of Monday 13th August)
Classes 1-5 & 36-68: £7.50 Late entries accepted after closing date and on show day at an additional fee.
Classes 6-7: £5.00 Late entries accepted after closing date and on show day at NO additional fee.
Classes 8-12: £2.50 per class (£10 for all 5 classes) Late entries accepted after closing date and on show day at NO additional fee.
Classes 13-35: NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED.
Late Entries will be accepted for classes 1-5 and 36-68 at an additional charge of £4.50 per class.
SHOWJUMPING Classes: SJ1 -SJ10 Entries ONLY taken on the day only at the Islwyn Secretary Box.

Today marks just two weeks until #BedwelltyAgriculturalShow2018 takes place at Llanciach Fawr Manor: https://your.caerphilly.gov.uk/llancaiachfawr and we just had to share this stunning image of Lauren Paynter and her horse Romeo with you all from a previous Bedwellty Show. 🐎 The pair won Supreme champion in 2016 and champion in 2017, we hope to see you both again at this years show and can’t wait to find out how you do! 😊 This beautiful image was captured by Glenn Whitehouse, who will be our official show ground photographer this year. 📷👍

We will be holding a small display of vintage cars and tractors at this years show.

Support Our Medal Classes !
Recently the Welsh Pony and Cob Society bronze medal rosettes arrived in the Bedwellty Show office, and we think you’ll agree they look brilliant!
But you only have until Monday 13th August to enter these classes and be in with a chance of winning them, as late entry on the day does not apply to these classes. Closing Date – Horse Section
Reminder for those wishing to enter the horse section – Entries close on Monday 13th August. NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED FOR WELSH IN HAND MEDAL CLASSES. All other classes can be entered on the day, but why not enter before the closing date to take advantage of discounted entry fees. All show jumping entries will be taken on the day by Islwyn Riding Club. 🐴🐎
